We are glad to start our Intersectional Workshop series with “Care Feminism and Transindigenous Knowledge” workshop held by Joulia Strauss and Elke Krasny.
What does it mean to live in an Infected Planet? How one can learn to think care at all scales, from the microbial to the planetary, from the personal to the political? How can we embrace self care, singing Ancient Greek hymns and dance as a political activism? During this two-day workshop, we will focus on ecofeminism, caring, maintenance as resistance.

18:00 - 18:40 Talk by Elke Krasny on Maintenance as Resistance: Caring for Environments through Use.
19:00 - 19:30 Presentation by Joulia Strauss and Screening of the essay "Transindigenous Assembly"
20:00 - 21:00 Ecofeminist Assembly with online participation of Ukrainian feminists in the war zone as well as indigenous leaders from Colombia, Peru, Greece, Spain, indigenous Russia, and Northern Europe (Fascilitated and moderated by Elke Krasny, Joulia Strauss and Luïza Luz)
Day 2

Public inauguration of the totem sculpture with singing and dance performance. Reading the document of the Ecofeminist Assembly.
Intersectional workshop series is shaped as an intersection of critical sustainability, diversity, and queer studies. The first workshop was developed around the discussions by İpek Çınar (the representative of Diversity and Social Justice Unit) and transdisciplinary artist Luïza Luz.
