Reminder: IPA language certificate deadline on 28.02.!

• You can apply for an extension of the deadline, even if you did so already the past semesters.
• COVID and a lack of German classes at the UdK has made an exceptional situation for the language certificate.
• The form you need to fill out is the “Antrag auf Verlängerung bei befristeter Einschreibung".  You need a signature from your “Hauptklasselehrer*in” or “Hauptfachlehrer*in”.
• If you need help, you can call or text the AStA Antidiscrimination advisor at +491775661564.  
• You can also email antidispolitik@asta-udk-berlin.de - and CC them on your email to the IPA!

Dear fellow students,

We all know how difficult it is to learn a new language and how stressful it is to worry about exmatriculation. For international students, this stress is even greater.

We are aware of the process of settling into a new country and a new education, the stress of trying to stay afloat financially, and the lack of an environment to speak and learn German during the pandemic.

It is not an individual problem that you have to deal with alone.

Therefore, we ask students to share their experiences and opinions on the topic of getting your German language certificate and communicating with the IPA and University management.

+++ Volunteers wanted for Student Election Board (StudWV) +++

The Student Parliament(StuPa) is looking for students who have the time and desire to participate in the Student Election Board.
The StudWV organizes the elections for the student parliament, which will probably take place in June. This includes, for example, coordinating the election procedures, counting the ballots, designing notices for the election, and organizing the constituent meeting of the new StuPa. The StudWV consists of three members. This activity is compensated with 250€.

The election of the StudWV will take place in the StuPa meeting on 16.2. at 18 o'clock online.
