About the Students’ Electoral Board
The Students’ Electoral Board (StudWV) is responisble for the organisation and execution of the elections of Student Parliament (StuPa).
It consists of at least 3 members, who are elected by StuPa. These members must be students of UdK Berlin and cannot run as candidates for the StuPa-elections themselves.
For their work, they receive a financial compensation.
The Students’ Electoral Board is normally elected several months prior to the next StuPa elections. In order to become member of the board, please obtain information in time from the chair of Student Parliament at stupa@asta-udk-berlin.de
Election Workers
Each year we are looking for people who are willing to help executing the StuPa elections. The task of election workers is to manage the election procedure at one of the various locations and to make sure this procedure is according to the rules of democratic vote.
That is to supervise the electoral register, to always look after the ballot box and to explain the election procedure to students coming to vote.
The elections workers are getting a personal instruction by the Students’ Electoral Board. Also they receive a compensation of 10 EUR per hour.
In order to become election worker, please write to wahlvorstand@asta-udk-berlin.de with the subject line “WAHLHILFE” after the StuPa election has been announced.
